 Many may miss out visiting or including Cyprus in their diver’s schedule. Not so many are familiar with the underwater life of this place, but be it known that with more than fifty dive sites and spots, Cyprus scuba diving will surely leave an imprint in your scuba diving diaries and albums.

Whatever scuba diving level you are in right now, there’s always a good dive site for you, and whatever your under the sea favorites are, there’s always a good place for you.  

 Not only does Cyprus have a colorful under the sea adventures, it also has extraordinary wreck ships and ferries underneath.  This may not usually be your choice for an adventure but if you’ll try it, you’ll definitely be amazed and will be diving back for more.

First stop is the “Lighthouse Wreck”, where you’ll navigate the 5,000 ton Greek freighter, “Ektimon”, which has lain there since 1971. Next is the “Pharses II Wreck”, where you’ll explore the 1,000 ton open deck cargo ship; moving on is the “Three Stars Wreck”, where you’ll see the ruins and remains of the 1972 burned vessel; next stop is the “Vera K Wreck”, where the Lebanese freighter has sunk in 1972 and blown up in 1974, and lastly, the “Zenobia Wreck”, where a Swedish Ro-Ro ferry sank in 1980, and this wreck site is considered as the most favored by the experienced divers.

Imagine, these are only a few of the many dive sites that you can plunge in, you can still go and float with the animals and rest in the caves and reefs of Cyprus’s dive sites.
